Discover the more and coastal region of Zeeland!

Zeeland the land of water ...

Among the beautiful dunes, beach and lake, with the most sunshine hours of the country (!), Are the beautiful villages of Kamperland, Kortgene and Arnemuiden. These lake and coastal towns may have the most beautiful nature reserves in Zeeland! Just go to the beach by bike. But Veere can also be reached by bike or boat in no time.

Kamperland

Located between the Veerse Meer and North Sea, the ideal base for water sports enthusiasts, foresters and beach lovers. The Kamperlandse dunes are traditionally known. Here you can go hiking. You can sunbathe, play and swim on the North Sea beach. For surfing and sailing, you can also go to the other side of the Veerse dam: on the Veerse Meer. One of the most beautiful technical highlights of the 20th century is the storm surge barrier. Definitely recommended to view.

Kortgene

A cozy and bustling village on the Veerse Meer. In the water sports season a lively place because of its large marina. Known for its cozy terraces, restaurants and centuries-old Korenmolen De Korenbloem, where flour is still made in the traditional way. The children can also have a great time as the (indoor) playgrounds, swimming pool and banana boat are not missing.

Arnemuiden / Veere

A water sports paradise for surfers, canoes, sailors, water skiers, divers and fishermen. Cozy places like Arnemuiden and Veere are on the lake and are certainly worth a visit. In the Veerse Meer countless uninhabited islands are waiting to be discovered. Mooring at these special places is recommended. Because of the shallow banks, the Veerse Meer is excellent for families with children. After a day of walking or cycling you will of course stay on one of the terraces or have a bite to eat in the cozy restaurants on the Veerse Meer.
